Hello diary, i am back again and today we are heading west! I am heading west because I want to visit my grandma in California and pa and ma are heading west to get so of that sweet gold I wouldn’t mind getting some gold either. We are going west by wagon and on the oregon trail. My friend Clara and her mother and father are going west also. They and going to travel behind us the whole way there in their conestoga wagon. Since we live in Missouri we have all ready used the pony express to mail grandma a letter to let her know we are coming.

Hello diary, we left last night so we are on our way to California! We just passed a ghost town and there was nothing there only a few log cabins that had no one living in  them. this is so fun we are like pioneers except pa he is a cowboy. Just because how he talks and how he acts.

Hello diary, today we are still on he trail and we are ahead of what we thought we were. Clara and I were walking beside the wagons and we found an old bandana and we gave it to ma because Clara’s mother brought on with her. Ma and pa can’t wait for that sweet gold. That is all they talk about.
